Support Bring Your Own IP Space

Currently Vultr supports the Bring your own IP Space feature: they provide either IP Address Advertisement or full (or default route) BGP. They provide the normal IPv4 and IPv6 addresses (used for peering) and also set up a BGP session from their ...

    Cross-datacenter private networking

Private networking is currently limited to droplets running in the same datacenter. It would be great if it would be possible for the droplets to connect to the internal IP's in other datacenters too!

Show private IP addresses also in the table of droplets

It would be very useful if the table at https://cloud.digitalocean.com/droplets could also show the private IP address for droplets that have private networking enabled. It could for instance be shown in gray color below the public IP address.

Implement rfc4193 ULAs for private networks and assign IP addresses to Droplets with both IPv6 and Private Networking.

In order to use DigitalOcean to test software compatibility in an IPv6 only environment, one will need to have rfc4193 Unique Local Addresses (fc00::/8) for DigitalOcean private networks. Since DO assigns non-routable IPv4 addressing on private ne...

Allowing changing the pre-allocated IP within a VPC manually

While the documentation make it sound like you are able to change the private IP of your droplet (see https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/networking/vpc/how-to/enable/), in reality it doesn't work. I mean the OS gets the new IP, but it cannot reach ...

    VPC support for managed databases

Databases do not currently integrate with VPC. This means that data between your databases and Droplets must travel over the public network. However, clusters are encrypted at rest with LUKS (Linux Unified Key Setup) and in transit with SSL. OD's...

    Allow private IPs in droplets

I suggest the possibility of using private IP addresses (as in addresses from one's own Autonomous System IP range) in DigitalOcean droplets, by establishing a BGP session with DO's routers.
