Tarrek (Product Manager): Is there any possibility to sign up for a beta? Also, vertical automatic scaling would be nice as well as long as you could set a threshold just as in horizontal scaling.

This is currently preventing us from moving to App Platform as our app has huge daily spikes.
It's quite weird that the solution targeted to people with the least technical infrastructure knowledge is lacking this, while managed kubernetes does have it.

+1 with this there is almost no need to create a kubernetes cluster. So big thumbs up!

Tycho van berge henegouwen: yeah, I mean, only those who really will take advantage of K8s will use K8s and the rest which usually have much simpler needs can enjoy App Platform without concerns. That's a very much needed feature, K8s is too difficult to setup and maintain for small teams.

I really love the app platform, but this is a necessary feature if my clients want to scale. I don't want to be called every time someone decides to do a flash sale or gets featured on some website.
