Move a volume snapshot to another region
I would like to add a volume snapshot to another region or transfer it to another region. I know I can do it with droplet snapshots, but what about volume snapshots? And also rename a snapshot and all the other features of droplet snapshots.

I use DO every few months for some data processing tasks that depend on a lot of downloaded files and intermediate products. I do all that on a volume and make a snapshot when I'm done so I don't need to re-download files or make the intermediates the next time. The region that was on (SFO2) has been deprecated (or something) and I can no longer makes volumes or snapshots there, so I'm locked out of that snapshot, meaning I've been paying DO to store data I can no longer access.
If I could just move the snapshot, I'd be able to just bring it back up as a volume in another region.
