Timescale recently released ned 1.3.0 version adding some awesome features regarding aggregation of data. Would be great to have that.
Hi Do team,
There have been 5 minor releases since the 1.2 release DO supports.
These releases includes:
1.3: high priority - continuous aggregates support
1.4: high priority - multiple continuous aggregates per hypertable and performance improvements for analytical queries
1.5: moderate priority - type-specific compression - saves a lot of storage
1.6: moderate priority - continuous aggregate w/o raw data, saves a lot of storage1.7: moderate priority - real-time aggregation on continuous aggregate
1.3 and 1.4 are so critical that we will deploy HA Postgres on Kubernetes if it's not available on DO Managed Postgres or possibly moving to another cloud.
Can we please get this prioritized and can you communicate an ETA?
timescaledb 1.7 version released https://github.com/timescale/timescaledb/releases
Please support it
TimescaleDB now supports continuous aggregations, would be nice to get an upgraded version.
I would love TimescaleDB 1.5.0+ to be supported - this is preventing me from switching to DigitalOcean for my business in general.
1.5 came out in October, and adds compression. Like other users, this plugin being so out of date is a blocker for me using DO hosted postgres on certain projects.
Please update TimescaleDB to 1.4, this is a blocker for me using DigitalOcean's hosted Postgres
This should be for 1.41 as well, it has more performance improvements.
