I have just created my account and added my VISA card but you locked my account without any reasons.
"Your idea is being processed and will appear shortly". Is that like your definition of shortly or mine.
I'm pretty sure this is in place so they are protected from chargebacks.

I will repeat here this is a perfectly valid credit card, not a debit or prepaid, have had it for 8 years... and I just used through paypal.

Your ramblings are difficult to follow.
Debit cards and credit cards are two different things. Some credit cards can function as debit cards, but rarely do debit cards function as credit cards. It is my understanding that Digital Ocean only accepts credit cards. So has your bank card accepted as a "credit card" at retailers elsewhere, but is being rejected here at Digital Ocean?
It's not Digital Ocean's fault that you choose not to use your PayPal account often. They conveniently provide two separate payment methods, and it's unfortunately that neither have been convenient for you.
Regarding your text formatting complaints, this is UserVoice's site, not a Digital Ocean's. Digital Ocean simply has an account with UserVoice for the purpose of these forums. You'll need to take your complaint up with UserVoice, which you can do at this page:

Me too. Your verification is too such as hell. Two my friends have block account and diffcult to create account. So now he move to cloudzin, vultr. They don't love DO anymore.
File a support request and talk to support. If your card checks out with your name and all, they will reinstate your account. Happened to me also.
BTW, I am still waiting for my account to be APPROVED, thank you so very much if you can take care of it !!!
same here.. i would say shame on them and on their verification... why shall an account get locked immediately after you verify your email.. they do not respect users... leave them ... and join other services!
They can lock you later and ask for documents in a good way.. but to lock you immediately before even you click a mouse on their shit platform, this is RUDE!

When you pay for an account you should be able to use it
stop the locks
getting locked for no reason whatsoever only happens once in a while
i went to amazon cloud server, never got locked again
If your account or droplet is locked due to abuse issues you always have the option to destroy the droplet in question by requesting this from support. All droplets incur charges unless they are destroyed so if your droplet or account becomes locked you have two options. 1.) Work to resolve the issue in order to have the lock removed. 2.) Request that the lock be removed in order to destroy the droplet to cease charges.
on the user flow side, I completed the damn verification, and I couldn't do anything else. It is unlocked but I can see anything. Just logout option.
My account has been locked. Verification form has been sent, but no response or whatsoever what to do next or how/what to perform in such case. No help or any other information page is available or propagated.
