It would be cool to have sandbox for API testing during apps development.
Please give us a sandbox do when the Web UI doesn't work we can go and manually use API to delete droplets
Sandbox would be greatly appreciated. This has been a wanted feature for 4 years.
API Sandbox please!
API Sandbox Please
I'm currently testing some command line tool I'm developing in Go (using godo) and it is quite complicated to handle everything without sandbox, as it may lead to bad manipulation and errors.
I would like to be able to have a test environment for the API. One where I could test my API calls and not incur charges on my account. This would help with development and quality assurance of future products that will use the API.
A good example of this is namecheap.com
They offer a free sandbox account for their API so that you can test out your API calls without being charged.
This would be super helpful.
With all of the function that you are adding, WHY isn't there an API sandbox for testing API commands?
So nothing in 3 1/2 years? :(
API sandbox will be awesome feature, yes, please.
Add a dummy api key for testing with api libraries so you do not have to create 'infinate' instances when you will make a programming error.
Need api sandbox
Yes please. As @Jarrod mentioned, integration testing is considerably more difficult without a sandbox
API sandbox please
This would be really really awesome. In fact, I really am a little surprised this does not exist yet. Writing integration tests against DO is hard if not impossible with no API sandbox.
