Let user choose their own ratio of RAM+CPU and SSD storage. Maybe for instance we need 1 droplet for just app that needs ton of RAM and cpu and not even 100MB of space, its such a waste to dedicate awesome storage to such server.
Unfortunately that's not possible. We slice up the servers based on the best value / cost ratio. So if we implemented something where customers would choose the resources individually you could have the specific server you want, but it would actually cost you more.
Been requested a couple of times before but unfortunately not possible.
oh its not about cost, just tought hey, what a waste of SSD's for something like Redis server.
True, but then you got the extra storage if you need it so you can NFS mount it to another server if you need more space at some point like on a content node or a web node ;)
