DigitalOcean launched a built-in CDN for Spaces in September'2018. https://blog.digitalocean.com/spaces-now-includes-cdn/

Our products also work with other CDNs in the market.

We will most likely be adding CDN services in the future, how we do not have an ETA on that yet.

I won't add a vote to this idea, but I strongly support it!
(I'm keeping my votes for other great suggestions on here, since this is kind of on the roadmap)

It would be great if DO could resell CDN services with either Akamai or EdgeCast. Both are one of the best on the market.

I'm surprised you can't use DO for a CDN (apparently against the terms of use?)

This would really be great if you could it in! Also this would then start to really put pressure on Rackspace.

    Really would like it!

+1 for CDN but... this request is dated Nov 9, 2012. Are there some news about it?

A really great idea. It's sorely missed. All the competitors have it.

The this would be a great feature in conjunction with the S3 / Object Storage alternative. It'd make it far easier for those of us who would like to host images using Digital Ocean, a pretty common use case.

I don't see the draw of DigitalOcean offering a CDN. Are people referring to a geographically-distributed network whereby assets that they've uploaded once are delivered using the closest data centre to given users? Why not just use one of the many existing options available on the market? Diversity is one of the important factors in online resiliency after all. The basic rule of thumb is - don't use one provider for everything.

Using any of the big corporations which make up the web. AWS, Azure, SoftLayer, RackSpace all have CDNS or deals with CDN companies Digital Ocean set off to create their CDN in the beginning.
Please create the best possible content delivery network that will give. Users, the ability to transfer data from VPS to VPS via API your DNS is now CloudFlare based create a CDN make your network better than what your competitors offer.
