Any status update on this feature?
It would be awesome to use spaces like this and save some droplet resources for APIs and stuff.
This would be the killer feature! Is there any workaround without any proxying via droplets? (I heard about a S3 hack..)
It would be nice if this natively supported SPAs by redirecting to index.html, instead of the 404 -> index.html hack that has to be performed on S3.
Great feature, would be awesome!
I'd be great if I have the chance to have multiple sites in a bucket (with a CNAME file per site) like in github pages (which is free).
This would be an awesome feature
Redirects to other pages, from non-www to www and vice versa, from http to https, grade A+ on http://ssllabs.com/ssltest/, … just a good static sites hosting and CDN :-)
If you need Beta-Users, here I am :-) . Nice to have feature - with custom cname/domains
Custom domains, default pages like index.html, and Let's Encrypt would all be great.
We do have plans for a Spaces static sites feature. We are aiming to deliver a basic 1st version before end of '17.
Yes, this is important but only once custom domains are available.
It's now the beginning of '19. Anything yet?
Waiting for more than a year ... Pls do it urgently ... I still can't understand ... How digitalocean launched Spaces without the custom domain cname ... As its really a a very common sense.
This is very small and rally important ... And still unable to get it ... why digitalocean is still not able to add such basic feature try. Do digtialocean don't have an technical team to make it happen on urgent basis
Google likes to see your media on your own domain name. Using a DigitalOcean subdomain for your media will very likely have a negative impact on the SEO of your media and your site.
I hope I'll use S3 for this site is useful.image hosting
