Development and systems Q&A
by Justin Ellingwood
Currently the DigitalOcean Agent only supports Ubuntu 14.04 and higher, CentOS 6 and higher, and Debian 8.
I suggest that DigitalOcean ports the Agent to cover the other 3 offerings of Fedora, CoreOS and FreeBSD.
We base our agent OS support on the most commonly used operating systems among DO users. Fedora is now supported, but we don't plan to support the others in the short-term at least. https://github.com/digitalocean/do-agent . Sorry for any inconvenience.
This is a must!
+1 especially for newer Fedoras
