Especially for database servers, it would be great if we could have live snapshots of block storage volumes. It would provide better backups in the case of failure, allowing quick restoration of the server on another similarly configured droplet. Ideally, if we're also able to have more granular control over the scheduling of the snapshots (e.g. what times/days/frequency) there's more flexibility to it as well (and the snapshots charges could be per snapshot, so with increased frequency there's an increased cost...which is fair considering the extra peace of mind!)
We need a feature to enable backups at volumes too.

Yep the block storage as a great new feature but snapshots would be seriously handy!

Block Storage is highly available and redundant. Backups for sake of failure may not be a major concern.
My concern is more about hacks or other app-created corruption and haven't a point to rollback to is where I think this feature would be most useful (at least for me).
