The current limit is one Floating IP per droplet, I would like DigitalOcean to support more then one floating IP. This would allow the droplet to DNS, and other services
I'm trying to setup a high availability / high performance load balancer using two floating IP addresses. I want to be able to use both servers at the same time for performance. One floating IP to the first droplet and one to the second droplet, but I'm running in to a limitation. In the event of a failure I cannot assign two floating IP addresses to the same droplet. If one of the servers were to fail or have scheduled maintenance I would like to be able to fail both ip's to one droplet.
Hi, We are working on CaaS service where we want to provide unique IP address for each Container stack. We are planning to host our service on DO because of ease of use and cost. However, this is the only limiting factor for us, because we can't bind same published on a shared droplet. If DO supports more than one FIP per Droplet, then we can create new FIP for each stack and bind the port to anchored IP. Please see if this can be supported if not then we will have to go with AWS.
