Becoz it's important to people in Asia to Outside, but it's more complicated than setting up Shadowsocks，so Plz think about it!
You can now start up an OpenVPN Access Server in 60 seconds right from DigitalOcean Marketplace! https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/openvpn-access-server
This is now available at https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/openvpn-access-server
Having an instantly deployable OpenVPN image that can be securely wiped would be incredibly useful for overseas trips and other travel, especially in this overly monitored new world.
It is also great idea for people dealing with censorship, especially users in Turkey right now.
Probably you know youtube and twitter ban in Turkey, instead of these we received shocking news, our government does man in the middle attack. They steal people's information, by this news, everyone started to use digitalocean for private VPN, if you make an image(droplet) which makes easier to use openvpn or softether, it would be great.
Honestly it's so easy to install & configure openvpn / PPTP. It's just not that high of a priority. Digital Ocean Servers are targeted towards developers, and people knowledgeable about Servers and Linux. There are plenty of tutorials out there to walk you through the process. Even a few on the Digital Ocean Articles. Take your pick below. But I will agree it could be nice to see more Turnkey images for servers. But then again, as a developer, I really like to get my hands dirty, and tweak every part of the setup, to suit my particular project.
Web solutions for VPN app:
I would love to see OneClick support for OpenVPN / OpenVPN Access Server, please! :-)
Please, add an One-Click OpenVPN Install on features that's will useful for all user digitalocean
or offer an one-click script to set up OpenVPN,that would be ok too.
VyOS have OpenVPN,PPTP,L2TP servers for vpn please vote
While a one-click image would certainly be useful, here is something almost as easy: a one-click configuration script.
I have used this to set up multiple open-vpn servers, and it really is one click. It even allows you to add and remove users automatically. Highly recommend it.
Implement a simple way to install OpenVPN with just a few clicks on the One-click apps.
Internet is not safe place, and people would like have secure internet connection even if they use public WI-FI. The best way to get it - use own VPN server.
But not everyone familiar with Linux, to configure it by own hands.
I ask DigitalOcean developers to add One-click apps for VPN creation.
