As we all know, IPv4 addresses are in short supply to combat this, DigitalOcean could do what some other companies do (like Scaleway) and offer droplets without a public IPv4 and only IPv6 could help to preserve IP addresses.
For customers with lots of backend servers and maybe one or two public facing servers (or using a floating ip) the public IPs assigned to the backend servers are unused, but still cost money for DO to acquire. Internet connectivity could be achieved using IPv6 and/or a IP6to4 proxy if needed.
(Pooled account bandwidth helped massively in regard to server clusters, so thanks for that!)
It's a long shot, but providing a modest price reduction would be nice for those not using a public IPv4 address.
