We're a little confused on which use case you're referring to. Do you mean using Redis inside a container on App Platform? If so, you would follow the general instructions for deploying a Docker container on App Platform and the Redis container instructions from Dockerhub.

If you mean using a managed Redis instance, hosted by DigitalOcean, you would first create the managed instance in App Platform:

Then, use the connection details from the control panel in your application code:
