https://docs.digitalocean.com/support/how-do-i-back-up-spaces-buckets/ says it possible to sync 2 buckets via snapshooter as backup method. And there is a link to https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/snapshooter/how-to/use-spaces-for-storage/.
What is not clear to me is: according to the article I need to create a bucket. Is this the original bucket or the bucket that is going to serve as the backup? And how about restoring a backup?

Unfortunately, what is also not clear until you get into the weeds is that you need a Business or Agency license to actually use the S3 sync backup job. Starting at $66/month.

Hi there,
The second article you linked to, https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/snapshooter/how-to/use-spaces-for-storage/, explains how to use a Spaces bucket as your SnapShooter storage provider. This is where your backup data is stored, so this would be the bucket that is going to serve as the backup.
To back up a Spaces bucket to a second Spaces bucket, you can use the S3 Sync backup job: https://app.snapshooter.com/jobs/create?recipe=s3-sync
