Our only free-tier option is for Static Sites hosted on the App Platform product. Unfortunately all tiers of our database products, as well as virtual machines (Droplets) that could host database software are paid options only. Static sites are not a problem for us to host for free, but anything that needs CPU/memory space like DB software does incur a charge. Our cheapest Droplet plan is $4/month.
