Use Volumes for DBaaS data storage
Haydon Perrin
The truth is, sometimes our databases need more disk space than the current plans offer but we don't actually need to increase our vCPU and RAM resources.
So it would be nice to just have the SSD associated with the underlying droplet to be for logs & then to network mount a Volume that MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc actually use for holding the data.
Charge us for the base plan and then if we have a Volume configured, charge us the same for the Volume as you would for Droplets and Kubernetes usage.
