App Platform Cloud Firewall Support

It would be great if we could use cloud firewalls to control access to deployed applications using App Platform. I've got some private applications that I would deploy using your PaaS offering immediately if I could firewall it off.

I'm in the middle of putting a blacklist capability in the app itself because we can't do this -- totally hacky workaround that's made me regret using DO's platform for our app.

I'm in full agreement. Being able to restrict access to apps deployed on the DO App Platform would be a game changing feature.

I agree, coming from AWS this is a bit of a blocker for us right now. It would be fantastic to create a firewall and whitelist/blacklist IPs to access applications deployed using the App Platform, and not just Droplets.

+1 ! I'd like to migrate my microservices to app platform, but I don't want to expose them to the internet

FTM, I have to implement basic auth or api key auth for each microservice
