Get a fixed ip address for an Application

If we have an ip address for eg a back-end application that uses a resource/database such as mongodb atlas or DO managed databases we could whitelist the app to use the resources/databases. Currently the only solution is to allow access from annywhere in mongodb/DO managed databases wich can be quite a problem on sensitive databases.

I understand the challenges to maintain a static IP address in view of the dynamic nature of DigitalOceans Apps. However, it would be a big step forward to indicate the IP ranges for each region for the DigitalOcean Apps service, such as e.g. AWS IP Ranges provides an IP range for each AWS service ( https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/aws-ip-ranges.html ). This will allow you to limit the IP address ranges for droplet connections that, for example, have a custom database running.
