I am writing to propose an enhancement for the App Platform: the ability to deploy apps directly from self-hosted GitLab instances. Many organizations utilize self-hosted GitLab for its enhanced security and control over their repositories. Integrating this feature would greatly benefit teams looking for the security of self-hosting while wanting to leverage the simplicity and power of the App Platform.

While the current platform supports deployments from GitHub and GitLab, adding support for self-hosted GitLab would be incredibly useful for a significant user base. This feature would streamline workflows, enhance automation, and provide a more cohesive environment for CI/CD pipelines.
