Greetings from C3iHub IIT Kanpur!

We are a Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Kanpur working at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation and ecosystem development. Established under the National Mission by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, C3iHub leverages IIT Kanpur's academic excellence to deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity services, promote startup incubation, and develop next-gen security solutions. So far, we have deployed over 15 technologies with Govt., PSU, private organizations, supported 50 R&D PIs and 50 startups across India, and trained over 1 lakh individuals (https://c3ihub.org/). This year Government also elevated the C3iHub into Technology Translation Research Park (TTRP).

For cybersecurity awareness spreading and real-world problem solving and innovation encouragement among youth, we organize national and international level hackathons.

So far, we have conducted 3 hackathons, with 35,000+ participants from 4,000+ colleges.

We are going to organize All-India Level Cybersecurity Hackathon, HACK IITK 2026, opening registrations from mid-October 2025 with Grand Finale at IIT Kanpur in January 2026.

Main domain of HACK IITK 2026 is Critical Infrastructure Security with subdomains as,

Network Security, Cryptography & Secure Communication, Hardware Security, IoT Security, AI Security, Digital Forensics, Automotive Security and Cyber Crime

An in-house developed hackathon platform will be piloted for this purpose.
