Add "Notify me when this droplet feels unhappy" feature (aka single click to enable default alerts)

The custom alerts policies that can be created work great yet require lot of manual labor. I'd love to have a single click feature that will create "default" alert policies for CPU, Memory, Disk Space so that when I create a droplet, I'll just si...

show which droplets are actually being monitored

On the new monitoring pages, highlight (green, orange, red) the droplet's associated with a monitor to show that it is actually being monitored. A lot of my droplets where here before the monitoring, and I've not actually installed the agent. I w...

    [Monitoring] Different metrics aggregations

Currently, all metrics seem to be aggregated by doing an average over the time period. However, as one might know, an average can hide a lot of different patterns (see the book "How to lie with statistics" for in-depth examples). Let's take an ex...

Show more detailed graphs with spikes in the CPU/RAM usage

Currently you collect stats about CPU and RAM usage with a frequency that is too low to see spikes of traffic. My web service handles bursts of requests that have a duration that might be less than 1 minute. In that case, even if my servers are un...

Alert on fullest filesystem for % utilisation, rather than average across all

Alerting on average % utilisation across all disks is of limited use (for me), as it allows one filesystem to hit 100% as long as the average stays below the trigger limit - essentially it means I still need to use an external service for alerting...

Droplet performance monitoring alert email should contains Name/Tag rather than just an IP

Now the email contains just only IP address of trigger droplet. It should contains droplet name and tag too.

Change input padding (Add Monitor Alert)

On the new Monitor Alert (https://cloud.digitalocean.com/monitors/new?xxx), the input that ask for the alert name (Name and create alert policy) has a weird padding ( 1.3rem .85rem .45rem!important ). It could be set like: .45rem .85rem .45rem!imp...

Let me use the DO agent on an external host

Alright, here's the rub: I have a bunch of stuff on DO (love it!), and also need to monitor something hosted elsewhere that is part of my app stack. It's external due to RAM, disk, and CPU requirements (dedicated hardware). I would like to ad...

monitoring agent should allow sending stats to external statsd or graphite

I currently monitor my server with a grafana stack of statsite (a statsd replacement), graphite and grafana. I would love to be able to point the DO-agent to my statsite server to have all my stats in the same place.
