Laravel Droplet Getting Started instructions needs .env security notice
The Laravel Droplet ( https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/laravel ) automatically creates a working .env file. This file has the default settings of: APP_ENV=local APP_DEBUG=true This is only acceptable settings for a local environment. In production this is a big security issue for Laravel applications as it is relatively easy to expose key environment variables. Either the .env file should not be automatically generated or the Getting Started instructions should have a callout for inexperienced users to change these settings immediately.
Add Minio to one-click-apps
Minio is Open Source Object Storage, written in Go programming language. It is compatible with AWS S3 signature v4 API. It will be a great add on to one-click-apps for DigitalOcean users, they can host object storage content like AWS S3 in one click. As CentOS 8 was deprecated in 2022, AlmaLinux 8.5 should be added. I understand that Rocky Linux is in the DigitalOcean marketplace, but as cPanel has no support for Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux is my only choice when it comes to being on the latest operating system. I can use a custom image, but it results in lots of functionality being disabled. In summary, please add AlmaLinux 8.5 as an operating system choice. Thanks.
Would be great a partnership with NewRelic like AWS do: http://newrelic.com/aws I love Digital Ocean service, but combined with this... the awesomeness would shot to the roof =)
Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
Marketplace images seem to be based on the old LTS 20.4 instead of the latest LTS. I'm aware that one can upgrade them but they should be based on the latest version from the get-go. Please update them to this latest Ubuntu LTS release and track this in future Marketplace image creation.
I was happy to see that today a FreeBSD droplet was added, but I'm more interested in OpenBSD than FreeBSD.
Wordpress Nginx Install
Your Wordpress 1 click install is awesome. However, it would be REALLY great if there was a nginx option as well (as the current one uses apache).
