Reserve IP Addresses / Make sure we can keep an IP if we recreate a droplet.

When destroying a droplet there's a 99% chance that you will get your IP back. If someone creates a droplet while destroying/creating a new one and steals your IP, it's a pain, even if the chances are <1%. This 1% is too much for some. An IP ...

Allow PTR records for Floating IPs

I'm loving that you have Floating IPs now and I'd like to setup reverse lookups (PTR) for them.

allow Floating IPs to point to load balancers

This would allow me to scale an app seamlessly in real time, instead of needing to carefully time it against DNS cache latency. After playing around with the new Load Balancers for a bit, It seems like an obvious extension. By the way, I'm really...

Enhance your Floating IP feature with inter-datacenter/inter-region fail-over

For example, NYC1 -> SFO1. In the event where NYC1 goes down during a Sharknado, the IP would automatically transition to SFO1 or TOR1 or whatever I configure, where a hot-standby droplet takes over.

    Floating IPv6 Addresses

We'd like to use floating IPs to seamlessly move traffic from one droplet to another when re-deploying services. However, we also aim to support IPv6 and already receive a lot of traffic via v6. As floating IPs are IPv4 only, this severely limits ...

    Anycast

There is no VPS provider that has a decent product supporting anycast. It would be great if you did. This way, I could have servers in multiple locations with the same public IP address. Users are likely to get routed to the closest.

    Add tags to floating IPs

It would be nice to be able to add tags to floating IPs. The primary use-case I have for floating IPs is to have reliably static IPs use for whitelisting in third patry APIs. I would love to be able to add tags to floating IPs to keep track right ...
